Harter Warranty

Harter warrants that its seating products are free from defects in material and workmanship during normal use, for the lifetime of the chair, with the exception of the following: gas cylinders, controls, stack chairs, functional parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship during normal use for 10 years; Casters, bases, arm caps, back-liners, and exposed wood parts (finished wood chairs and wood base caps) are warranted for 5 years; Upholstery materials are warranted for 3 years under normal use; Service parts are warranted for 1 year from defects in material and workmanship from the date of replacement or for the remainder of the original product warranty, whichever is greater.  Multi-shift applications will change the warranty on 10 year items to 6 years, 5 year items to 3 years, and on 3 year items to 1 year.  These warranties apply to the original purchaser only.
